COURSE DETAILS:
FINISH LINE FOR THE 5K AND HALF-MARATHON: 30339 N. River Road, Prairie City, OR
Directions to the finish line: Approximately 3 miles East of Prairie City is the turn off for the N. River Road. Drive 1.2 miles on the N. River Road to get to the finish line.
START LINE FOR THE 5K: .3 miles East of the 4 mile marker on N. River Road
The 5K course is a combination of both gravel and pavement. It is relatively flat.
START LINE FOR THE HALF: .2 miles after turning onto the N. River Road from Hwy 26.
The half-marathon course is mainly on pavement with a few stretches of gravel the last 4 miles. The course is a combination of rolling hills and flat ground, with the exception of two hills described:  At the start, you will travel .2 miles up hill, then immediately downhill as you turn onto Hwy. 26. As you come into Prairie City, the course levels out. Travel into Prairie City, turn South at the Nursing Home and toward Deport Park. There is a hill as you travel past Depot Park. At the top of the hill, turn left and travel onto County Rd. 62. Just beyond the road’s six mile marker, turn left onto N. River Road. Continue to finish line.
One aid station with water, Gatorade and gummy bears will be provided at 6.5 miles. If you have something special that you don’t want to carry, we can place it at the aid station.
